“Breathing Into The Shield” – Amazing Functional Benefits of Clubs & Sandbags

August 30, 2024 by VAHVA Fitness

"If you want the formula for continuous progress, switch up your training. Do something you have never done before. Do something completely different."

In the last several years we have gotten really deep into training with clubs, maces and round sandbags. This has given us a new boost of strength and athletic ability.

The reality is that no form of training will produce amazing results forever. You can surely keep improving but at some point you will hit the point of diminishing returns.

After this point, the results you will gain are no longer substantial but rather incremental. You are making progress but it's not significant.

This is why changing your training matters, truly.

By switching your training regimen and trying something entirely new, you can unleash your progress and development once again. You can make the "newbie gains" once again.

If you only focus on one form of training, you will surely make results in the beginning but after that the gains slow down for real.

There are people who have been doing the same basic exercises such as the bench press, squat and deadlift for years (and decades!). After the initial, many times exponential gains, progress in strength has plateaued and so has their athletic ability.

Many continue training like this for years with only marginal increases in their strength and athletic ability. Even athletes such as this exist at the highest levels. This is not a productive way to use your time and energy.

If you want the formula for continuous progress, switch up your training. Do something you have never done before. Do something completely different.

This is how we have been able to make progress year-after-year but also how we keep our training fresh. All of our methods are actual methods – they are vastly different ways of training and developing the body with very little overlap.

Each method contains years worth of physical development. These are complete methods, not short term programs.

The best thing is that when you focus on one method and return back to the previous one, your body has changed so much that even the old method starts producing new results.

We believe in this philosophy in the diet as well. Sometimes it's a good idea to change your diet and do fasting to give your body a different type of stimulus and nutrition.

Is now the time for you to try something different?

We have over 10 years of extensive research and physical development of ourselves & our students condensed into our training methods. You can browse the methods here.

Here you can find 50 different testimonials from people of different backgrounds, ages, genders and body types who have gotten great results from our training methods.

Stay strong.
