MMA, Movement & Qigong with UFC Champion Jiri Prochazka

August 28, 2023 by VAHVA Fitness

We visited Jiri Prochazka in Brno, Czech Republic for several days and trained MMA, movement and qigong with the notorious UFC Light Heavyweight Champion.

Last month, we spent several days training with the UFC Light Heavyweight champion Jiri Prochazka in Brno, Czech Republic.

If you don’t know him, he has a very unorthodox fighting style and despite all of his success and notoriety, he is a very grounded person who lives a natural life in the countryside of Czech Republic.

In his home country he is a national hero and 1 year ago he also reached the pinnacle of martial arts and combat sports winning the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship.

He is also a huge fan of Miyamoto Musashi and reads The Book of Five Rings regularly.

So it was not surprising that we aligned well with him since we all had inclinations towards ancient and primal training methods.

Over the days in Brno, we shared our knowledge in regards to movement training, Qigong and more.

In return, he taught us about his mindset, preparation and fighting style in the realm of martial arts and the fighting game. We even had the opportunity to spar and train with him.

Jiri Prochazka, Eero Westerberg, Filip Lukes and Samuli Jyrkinen.

What was also interesting is that Jiri Prochazka's physiotherapist and personal trainer Filip Lukes already knew us from 5 years ago without us knowing.

Filip who is an excellent coach himself, had learned animal movements from our YouTube channel many years ago which he had also taught Jiri in the past.

This time, we showed new movements that are included in Movement 20XX Expansion (latest update). These movements are the newest and some of the highest level movements Eero has come by and they are amazing for full body strengthening, limberness and functional coordination.

Nowadays, a lot of athletes understand the value of movement training, mobility and taking care of the body.

Even Conor McGregor's meteoric rise to the top of UFC was partly thanks to his fluid and mobile training regimen. Too bad the man has fallen off since.

These movements are primal and offer many multi-faceted benefits to the muscles and the nervous system. They can be a real fountain of youth for people who start to get stiffer and stiffer each year as they get older.

Whether you are a complete beginner or a professional athlete at the highest level, this is the type of training that will pay dividends for the rest of your life. Strength, muscle, mobility, coordination – it's all inside.

In addition to the movement training, we also shared many methods of qigong with the UFC Champion Jiri Prochazka.

We taught him Lohan Gong from Health & Fighting Qigong course and standing meditation from The Grand Circle.

Jiri Prochazka already had some knowledge of Qigong but like everyone, he also thought Qigong was mainly "soft" in terms of execution and movements.

In reality, there are many types of Qigong, many of which have been lost in the West. For example, Lohan Gong is "hard qigong" made for fighting, war and boosting your testosterone & vitality.

It's not as soft and rather it can be be rigid and tense. The proper postures in combination with the right breathing techniques produce incredible effects in the body.

This is the stuff the warrior monks of Shaolin practiced hundreds of years ago to not only prepare their bodies but also their minds for combat. It's for both internal and external benefits.

You see, Qigong covers the whole body internally and externally but it also impacts your hormones, neurotransmitters and mind in general. This type of real authentic Qigong & Kung Fu you can learn at WarriorNeigong.com

At 191 cm (6 ft 3) and decades of martial arts & athletic training Jiri Prochazka is someone you would not like to fight.

It was an amazing trip to visit Czech Republic - a very beautiful country and we really liked Brno. We talked about returning at some point to explore more of the countryside.

Due to the limitations in equipment and a busy schedule, we unfortunately didn't have time to showcase rest of the methods and especially the Iron King Method.

Iron King Method is an exceptionally effective program for all martial artists and MMA fighters because you are building real functional strength in the entire body.

You will not only be able to strike better and but you will be able to handle your opponents in wrestling & grappling with almost ridiculous strength and control.

Whether it's movement training or Qigong, we have dug deeper than the surface and have spent years researching this stuff to find real gold.

Similarly, Iron King Method is also something different and not something you will find everywhere.

I hope you enjoyed the vlog, we have more videos to come.

Stay strong.
