Demonstrating the concept of "The Origin Body". Also bringing you The Anatomy of the Cat – an enormous flow sequence you can follow.
You have been looking for something without even knowing it – you've only focused on the surface but it can't be found from there.
Something has been lost under the external images and cultural conditioning and it no longer can be perceived.
We try to self-actualize through the appearance we're after, the supplements and drugs we take to "thrive" and the virtual world we live in. In the end, we express only a shadow of ourselves.
The surface can take many forms, but underneath the surface is what we're truly after. This is the "Origin Body", the universal state where energy stems from and flows without blocks.
It's the state of the deepest and purest potential. This potential, as old as life itself, is in our nature. The body is our teacher, it's an age-old master with overflowing knowledge for those who listen.
It's time to dismantle the programming. Release your imagination, soften the gaze and let nature take over.
This is a new era of physical development. We leave the surface and draw our strength from the source.
Anatomy of the Cat (Routine)
Now, let's discuss what happens in the flow sequence of the video.
We are sharing all the possibilities that can be achieved with the cat pose or cat walk. It's an incredible animal movement or stance that we have covered in this video and which is also part of Movement 20XX.
Previously, we covered the endless possibilities with the lizard crawl in the Anatomy of the Lizard video. Now, you will see what is possible with the cat.
The sequence goes as follows:
Just going through the flow sequence will surprise you. Before you attempt this flow, you should first master the fundamentals and basics we cover in Movement 20XX – this is a rather advanced flow.
The flow will strengthen the body as a whole but it's especially great for stretching the body and mobilizing the spine. You are moving the spine in all ways - rounding and arching, twisting and even horizontally (circling).
Likewise, the shoulders get a lot of work done as well. If you tried our 90 seconds challenge last year, you will notice that the cat pose will not just hit the core but also the quads and shoulders.
This is not an easy position to hold for long periods of time and in this flow we are holding it for a long time. The scapula rolls are especially demanding for the shoulders and core.
Although the pace is up to you, completing this sequence a few times will give you a good workout and should raise your heart rate as well.
However, don't make this flow into an intense Warrior 20XX workout. Take your time. Explore the body. Enjoy the moment.
You feel discomfort? It's fine. Accept it. Your body will thank you later.
You are having a bad day? Try this flow. Maybe the day is no longer bad – it actually never was... it was all tension in the body which this flow will release.
Don't fall into the abyss. Let the body do what it wants to do. Let the energy flow and the mind go blank.
We all need this from time to time. It's your turn.
What We Have Scheduled for 2021
We had an exceptionally busy 2020 with releasing Morning Routine 20XX and several Qigong courses, and this year shouldn't be any different.
Here is what is about to happen next. The schedule:
February/March 2021 - New Advanced Health Qigong Course
We still haven't released everything we have filmed with the grandmaster Jiang Yu Shan and what is left is maybe the greatest masterpiece of them all.
This is the most advanced and high level Qigong you can find anywhere. We are talking about a 100-days qigong cycle, the grand circle, microcosmic orbit circulation and a lot more.
Make sure you master the fundamentals of Health Qigong first because you will need them.
Spring 2021 - Updates to existing programs like Movement 20XX and Athlete 20XX
We will be making a major update to Movement 20XX this spring and will be adding bonuses to Athlete 20XX and Warrior 20XX as well.
We will take our time to make the programs even better – so far thousands of users have rolled on each program and countless people have transformed their physiques, learned how to move and coordinate their bodies, fixed persistent and chronic injuries and more.
Summer 2021 - Advanced Training Protocols and Modalities.
This is a course we have already been working on but it will take more time for it to come to fruition. The 20XX programs cover the fundamentals and practice but we are not touching on theory or the principles behind the methodology.
Most people don't need to know the secrets behind the craft, they only need to execute and then they will reap the rewards.
However, if you are a teacher, trainer or a serious/advanced practitioner, then this course will be pure gold for you.
We are looking forward to making waves with this course. We will be demonstrating a level of understanding and methods that are far superior and more advanced than it is publicly available in terms of bodyweight training.
Expansion and Conquest of New Territories
Over the years we have spent lots of time researching and mastering different areas of fitness which we have found to be essential for health, longevity and performance (our core values).
2020 was a big year for us in terms of physical and mental development. Despite this, we had no time to share all of our big discoveries.
The reality is that YouTubers and actual teachers/researchers are different breeds. Time and resources are limited and we are not pure entertainers.
Our primary focus continues to be our passion to the craft and taking care of our supporters – not chasing views and likes on social media.
2021 we will be sharing things that can completely turn your life upside down as they have done to ours.
A lot of this knowledge and methods haven't caught wind yet but will very likely be the norm in the next 5-20 years.
It happened with animal movements. When we started, almost no one except for wrestlers and martial artists were doing them – now it's common to see Instagram influencers with 100k-1M followers do cat walks in the gym.
It's a new decade and the physical culture has gone very far in the last 10 years. However, everything is still very superficial, even in the culture of movement.
People have learned how to make their bodies limber and strongish but almost no one understands the concepts of physical or mental frames, how everything ties into longevity, internal health (body and mind) and "unchained" performance.
Share more with you soon.
