The Club Master workout with ancient equipment called Indian Clubbells (mugdar/karalakattai). This is excellent for coordination, mobility and strength endurance!
In this video you will see a workout called The Club Master - a workout we just added to Warrior 20XX Method.
The tool that is used is called the Indian clubbell. This equipment's history goes back over thousands of years and in India it's often called "mugdar". In Tamilnadu (Southern India), this equipment has the name "karalakattai" and it is believed to be common training equipment in almost every household over 2000 years ago.

In Iran, different kinds of clubs are still used today and they also have a long history originating from ancient Persia. These clubbells are called "Persian meels" and they are often made of wood.
The bigger club/mace is often called Gada which we mentioned in the Hyborian Challenge video and article.
There are countless exercises you can do with the clubbells, the ancient methods alone contain 66 different exercises and swings you can perform with these tools. We have invented many ourselves as well.
The weight makes a big difference. With light clubbells (they can be as light as 2 pounds or 1 kg), you can focus more on mobility, strength endurance and coordinated swings.
With light clubbells your shoulders rotate like never before and they are deeply developed unlike with many other tools. The light clubs are perfect for coordinated drills although heavy clubs can also be utilized if you are strong and coordinated enough.
With heavier clubbells you will focus more on building muscle and strength. Especially your grip strength will improve a ton and you need to work more on body and core stabilization. It's like two different things to train with light clubs compared to the heavy clubs (get both).
The secret of this tool lies in the uneven weight distribution and leverage. The clubbell becomes incredibly heavy when the majority of the weight is allocated to the other end of the equipment.
This uneven weight distribution is what makes the tool special. You will work on movement patterns you have never worked on developing muscles in ways they have never been developed before.
You can perform swings that produce dynamic strength which will be key in all sports and martial arts. Ultimately, it all depends on how you use the tool and the weight of the club - this tool is very versatile and can be adjusted to produce different benefits.
Both Indian clubs and the steel mace are something we have been working a lot on and have already researched on a deep level.
It will be very interesting to see what kind of benefits this kind of training will produce after a year or two. However, we have already seen massive benefits working on this ancient equipment.

We just added two new bonus workout routines to Warrior 20XX Method.
One with a steel mace and one with Indian clubs. Both workout routines have 6 unique exercises and are fully in follow-along format as usual. We also added additional videos on figuring out the optimal weight of the equipment.
So, basically Warrior 20XX Method now includes very nice programs on steel mace and indian club training...
So far, Warrior 20XX Method has 17 workout routines to do. We mostly focus on the fundamentals with bodyweight training, dumbbells and kettlebells but the method also consists of workouts with a sandbag, barbell, clubs, steel mace and a resistance band.
In addition to all of this, the method comes with a full in-depth online course on Warrior 20XX Methodology and mental strength & toughness.
