Ancient training equipment you have probably missed: steel mace and clubbells. Way more effective than people expect.
Just a few days ago we released the "Hyborian Challenge" video displaying a new Steel Mace workout we just added to Warrior 20XX Method alongside 6 exercise tutorials and more supportive content.
In this new podcast, we discuss the benefits we have gotten from training with the mace and Indian clubs. I hope you can hear our excitement because we truly love this equipment.
They are not just fun to use but we discovered them to be some of the best training tools for athletes, martial artists and people who are into functional fitness.
Here's what you can expect to gain from training with the maces and clubbells:
The weight of the tool makes a big difference though. Lighter weights are better for mobility and power training. Heavier weights will develop more overall strength and grip strength.
These tools are fantastic for dynamic strength and for developing athletic attributes but obviously they do not replace the standard equipment such as dumbbells and bodyweight.
However, we would say at the elite level the mace and Indian clubs combined with animal movement training probably produce the best results. Dumbbells are great for fine tuning your patterns and fixing imbalances though.
We have already invented a massive amount of exercises for the mace and clubbells while also learning how the ancient masters used these tools. Especially in India and Iran the clubbells have a very long and deep history and they are very popular tools even today.
These are amazing pieces of equipment. They are just a bit more difficult to use at first (everything is difficult at first) but once you learn, they offer incredible possibilities for developing the body.
Stay tuned, we have more videos coming out in the near future... and we also upgraded Warrior 20XX Method with new workout routines.

We just added two new bonus workout routines to Warrior 20XX Method.
One with a steel mace and one with Indian clubs. Both workout routines have 6 unique exercises and are fully in follow-along format as usual. We also added additional videos on figuring out the optimal weight of the equipment.
So, basically Warrior 20XX Method now includes very nice programs on steel mace and indian club training...
So far, Warrior 20XX Method has 17 workout routines to do. We mostly focus on the fundamentals with bodyweight training, dumbbells and kettlebells but the method also consists of workouts with a sandbag, barbell, clubs, steel mace and a resistance band.
In addition to all of this, the method comes with a full in-depth online course on Warrior 20XX Methodology and mental strength & toughness.
This is because high intensity training fundamentally requires a good level of mental toughness to produce the best results.
Inside this online course, you will learn how to build mental strength, get rid of procrastination and witness how to build mental toughness based on our lessons and experience we've acquired from being in the military, training martial arts, traveling the world and building a successful fitness business.
Warrior 20XX Method is an actual method you can utilize for years to come. We personally use these workouts on a weekly basis and so do many of our members. The best yet, this year alone we have updated the method for several times.
When you combine the follow-along workouts with the unique exercise selection (tutorials), the breathing techniques (included) and a full online course, together it's a powerful combination.
You can get the method and learn more at Warrior20XX.com
Stay strong and never give up.
