Shadowboxing with Monkey Kung Fu Techniques – Monkey Xinyi Ba

Mixing Monkey Kung Fu, Hanuman Boxing and Monkey Xinyi with traditional kickboxing in the form of shadowboxing.

In combat and the art of war in general, surprise and creativity are always the biggest advantages you can have.


What has happened in the realm of martial arts is that certain methods and ways of fighting have proved to be the most effective and as a result they have become the most popular.


In striking, it's the Western boxing and Muay Thai - both extremely effective forms of striking no doubt about that. 


As a result of their popularity, most fighters and martial artists look and move almost in the identical fashion. They do the same punches, sometimes even the same combinations. Their footwork and evading techniques are exactly the same.


It only takes one unorthodox fighter to come and dominate the field because suddenly one of the fighters is entirely unpredictable. We've seen this in UFC (the most popular combat sport organization in the world). 


Jiri Prochazka became the UFC Light Heavyweight champion in no time thanks to his unorthodox and creative striking. The number one striker in the UFC is also considered Stephen Thompson whose pure Karate style is very hard to deal with for almost everyone.


Obviously, boxing and Muay Thai are some of the best ways of training and striking. However, if you want to stand out and have an easier path to victory, you need to add more unorthodox strikes and movements to your repertoire.


When you are hard to read, you will be able to surprise the opponent with shots he has never seen before. In the art of war, the surprise has always been the greatest advantage since the time of Sun Tzu.


You can adopt these strikes from everywhere but we particularly think ancient fighting systems such as Hanuman boxing, Monkey Xinyi and Monkey Kung Fu have very unique hand techniques and body hardening methods everyone can implement in their striking game.
