Omar has been in the fitness & bodybuilding scene for over 5 years but eventually got interested in a more multifaceted and multidisciplinary approach. He got into CrossFit but as everyone knows, it surely has variety but also comes with a host of different problems.
We are proud to say that our approach has as much variety (if not more) as CrossFit but without the destructive aspects of the sport. We consider training more like an art than a competitive sport anyway.
I spent a lot of mental effort trying to put together a program for myself, that I thought would be beneficial, that would provide me with the mobility, flexibility, strength, and athleticism to further my progress in my health.
However, I could not do that by myself. And so, I decided to go online and try to find programs that were available to me, and I stumbled across Vahva Fitness.
Later, when the pandemic hit, Omar didn't just stop pursuing his goals but he actively researched a way to develop his body without needing to have a large gym full of equipment.
That's when Omar found Vahva Fitness and when he eventually joined all the 20XX Programs, Morning Routine 20XX included.
The emphasis these programs provide on athleticism in general, through especially the understanding and through the utilization of hip training, hip mobility, hip articulations and hip strength is something I've never come across.
And it really opened my eyes to form of training that I find it very difficult to find online and I don't find it online as a matter of fact.
In exercises and developing the body, we don't disregard or neglect any joints of the body. In mainstream workouts it's common to dominantly focus on the beach muscles: chest, biceps and abs but the human body is a lot more than that.
Moreover, proper hip training is crucial if you are looking for maximal athleticism for sports or martial arts. Most of your power and athletic ability simply comes from your hips. Healthy hips also often mean a healthy spine (and no back pain).
Yet, hip training is one of the most neglected areas in all fitness. The back squats and deadlifts simply won't do the job when your hip joint can move in 3 dimensions and has a lot more articulations than people think.
Athlete 20XX Method has the most complete hip training out of all programs but hip training is quite well covered in our other programs as well.
Now, for anybody out there who is looking for a complete program, I guarantee that you will not find anything out there online now that is anything like what Vahva Fitness provides.

When we first started training, we wanted to find the optimal way to develop the body that wasn't just for the looks. We understood that if you train like an athlete, you will surely look like one whether you train for looks or not.
We focused heavily on bodyweight skills and heavy lifting in the beginning but our bodies got wrecked. And the transference to athleticism was subpar.
