Jiang Yu Shan shares a story of how in his 20s he went 4 years without any sexual activity and focused on a vegetarian diet to destroy his old self and reach a new level in his practice.
Just around a month ago we once again stepped in Taiwan, the home of the notorious monkey boxer Jiang Yu Shan.
If you don't know who he is, you can learn more about him here. He is basically one of the highest ranked (9th Duan) Kung Fu and Qigong grandmasters in the world with a skillset and knowledge very few possess.
For us, the journey started 15 days in a strict quarantine. This was by far one of the hardest things we have done in a while – we literally spent 15 days in a small hotel room without stepping outside the room.
You would assume just lying on the hotel bed is relaxing but it turned out nothing is more anxiety inducing than being locked in a room for over 2 weeks.
The local police tracked our cellphones and even called us every day for updates. Taiwan is not messing around when it come to corona. The hotel delivered us local food three times per day.
We used this time wisely and managed to release the free trial for our Warrior 20XX program. During the quarantine, Eero was also learning Chinese Kung Fu and Qigong from the master via video calls.

It’s a fascinating experience to be able to learn ancient eastern arts not only in their outside artistry but in their original practicality and internal depth as well. Hollywood and movie stars popularised kung fu but they never managed to show the dignity it deserved - and it’s no wonder. The real knowledge of Chinese martial arts is vast and deep. It has always been kept as a secret and very few people have had access to it. We still have some weeks left in Taiwan recording the heritage of this art with the master @Jiang_Yu-Shan, let’s see how deep we can go.
Eventually, after tiresome 15 days we got out and freedom never felt so good. We immediately hopped on a train and traveled to Tainan to visit the master Jiang Yu Shan.
The next couple of weeks we have worked hard on several new projects. It will take a while to get this information and videos out but a lot of people will be happily surprised.
We have done our best to search YouTube and Google and a lot of the stuff the master is sharing we haven't been able to find anywhere else.
If Health & Fighting Qigong by Jiang Yu Shan was considered something special, this new stuff can be considered the gold edition.
However, Health Qigong will be the pre-requisite for most of the teachings we cover in the future because a lot of the things in Qigong rely on proper breathing. Without proper breathing a lot of Qigong becomes almost ineffective.
We still have lots of work to be done. We are filming long days and barely have any time for anything else.
We are trying to film as much as possible because we don't know how the current situation will play out or whether Taiwan opens the borders anytime soon. Experiencing quarantine for the second time would be pure torture.
Taiwan's borders have been officially closed since March but due to Jiang Yu Shan's connections we managed to get a special entry permit during COVID-19 outbreak – something very few people have an opportunity to get.
Nevertheless, what we are about to export to the West will make it all worth it, you can count on this.
All we can say is that get ready to be blown away.
